InPro spins off cultured marble line to Leslie Marble, Inc.

MILWAUKEE - InPro Corporation today announced it has sold the assets and trademark of the Lippert® brand of cultured marble to Leslie Marbic, Inc., headquartered in Beaver Dam, Wis. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

For about a year and a half, Leslie Marble had been a contract manufacturer of Lippert brand products for InPro.

In recent months, InPro had ceased sales of cultured marble. That decision was based on the largely redisential nature of the cultured marble martket, and InPro's core competencies in commercial and institutional building materials and products.

"This is an exciting moment for both our companies," said Phil Ziegler, CEO of InPro. "This transaction gives Leslie the two top names in cultured marble in the Midwest market, and we have the comfort of knowing the Lippert brand name will live on with a well-established, excellent company."

Richard Hedberg, President of Leslie Marble, Inc and Lippert Cultured Marble, concurred with Phil Ziegler's comments and indicated this is an exciting time for his two companies. "To be able to manufacture and sell these two quality brands to residential and commercial customers throughout the country is a great opportunity" Leslie Marble and Lippert have been manufacturing for residental and commercial customers for over 35 years. The manufacturing plant is located in Thorp, WI.
